Airtable - Like Excel on steroids but with built-in data hygiene plus integrations. Free basic plans and a discounted premium plan for nonprofits. Works as a database, CRM, campaign manager, dashboard, remote work tool, assignment tracker, and more.
Canva - Canva has seriously stepped up their game over the past couple years. The Pro plan has a lot more functionality that artists and content creators may need, but the free version is good for entry level users and Canva Pro is free for nonprofits. For others, if you create a team, it's only $2 additional for each extra head on a Pro subscription (up to 5). Crossed this off because too much AI.
Affinity Designer - My favorite alternative to Adobe Illustrator, and in my opinion, easier to use on iPad. One time purchase rather than a subscription.
